Rev. Flo Paris Oakes (she/her) is an author and musician whose passions include storytelling, children’s spirituality, environmental conservation, singing loudly in the car with her teenagers and cuddling her Newfoundland dogs.

Flo is also an ordained deacon in the Anglican Free Communion International and the Diocese of the Emmaus Way and Children’s Pastor at St. Mary of Bethany Parish.

Flo is the author of “Wild Wonder”—a faith-based environmental conservation curriculum for children published by A Rocha USA, and co-author of “Little Prayers for Ordinary Days” published through InterVarsity Press Kids. In addition to her three solo albums, Flo is also the founding member of the kids’ folk gospel band, “Rain for Roots.”
